If the flashback of Rai is to be believed then the Blood Stone are something very rare and precious.
Lagus Tradio has to conspire for thousands of years to get a true Blood Stone from Rai's mansion .
Of course Lagus was able to forge a fake version even without having access to real one.
Now the Blood Stone isn't so rare. Maduke had a mine of it. I'm surprised how he was able to get his hands on them. I'm guessing the ones he implanted in his underlings were fake ones (whose only function was to drain power).
Now First Elder too have access to blood stones.
So is there someone selling blood stones like cabbages? Is it the same person who gave blood stone to Kurmark (from spinoff series :Rai's Adventures).
We now know that Kurmark was an Elder of Union. (Kurmark being an Elder was shown in the recent flashback of Frankenstein).
So perhaps that mysterious guy from Rai's Adventures is distributing blood stones. One wonders why... To create chaos? Or some part of power is transferred to him when others use blood stone?
Is this mysterious guy related to the noble who gave Blood Stone to Rai for safekeeping ?

I'm more interested to know who the heck dropped Rai off in the bottom of the ocean or whatever, or who was looking for the coffin. That's a plot line that's never been visited again (as far as I can recall). Maybe this blood stone cabbage guy is involved?
ReplyDeleteActually it was explained in 280 or so. A subsidiary branch of Union found the coffin in Ocean. They didn't treated it as some valuable but as some antique. A smuggling group stole it so Union send low level agents to retrieve it. If it was something important then they would have sent high level agents. So Frankenstein was sure that Union didn't knew about Rai's existence .

There seems to be some mysterious, shady Figure sneaking around in the Background, who is giving Beings of Power access to either single, or many Bloodstones.
Be they artificial Beings of Power, or natural Ones. There is always this grinning Figure handing out Bloodstones to others ... ...
Who could it be?
Could it be Tesamu?
Could it be Raizel's Brother, who has come back from the dead by Necromancy or some Shit?
Could it be the true Frankenstein-Monster?
(( I know "Darkspear" is the Fr.Monster in this Story, but it could be ... ... ))
Or maybe it is Ashleen, who has miraculously survived the Assassination on her Life and has now turned into a evil Villain?
