Noblesse Chapter 509

The chapter open with Crombell's powers spreading around the lab. Both First and Third Elders notice that just like Frankenstein's powers the power of Crombell is too corroding the surrounding.  Crombell and Frankenstein's powers are almost same with a very important difference.

Frankenstein's powers are uncontrollable but Crombell has his powers at full control.

Crombell launches a dark Kamehameha which destroy the entire building where the lab is located.

Third Elder ask the mandatory dumb question: "Dr. Crombell.  Are you betraying Union?"

Crombell is rather surprised at the mention of "betrayal" since both First and Third Elders planned to wipe out the remaining Elders after they have gained enough power.  Sooner or later First and Third Elders would wipe out the loose ends to have the ultimate control over the Union.

Not to mention in their last meeting the Elders were daring Crombell to betray (by their attitude).

The very fact that Third Elder asked him such a question means that the Elders have weakened.  Third Elder is rather offended and goes all out.  (No blood stone surprisingly.  Did Union lacked fund to give Blood Stone to underlings of First Elder but not Third Elder ?)

Third Elder is defeated within moments when Crombell goes shirtless...oops i mean when his dark powers cover his chest . Poor Third Elder doesn't even have a transformation much less a blood stone. Poor guy.

First Elder ask Third Elder to leave the area while he battle Crombell. Third Elder doesn't wants to leave as he knows that First Elder can't use his full powers due to the aftereffects of his fight with Frankenstein .

First Elder then ask Crombell about his dark powers. Crombell explains that he studied the records he and Union found within ancient ruins. The records were incomplete so Crombell has to do a lot of research in order to find the way to gain his powers.

First Elder realizes that Crombell used Frankenstein's data to gain this power. So it's not surprising that Crombell's aura resemble Frankenstein.

First Elder is angry as such power would require massive human lives.

Crombell is surprised when he sees First Elder talking about the sacrifice needed for the power.  But then he thinks it's not surprising for First Elder to know about this power as First Elder knows everything within Union.

Crombell recently has seen the archives of Union history (with First Elder's permission). In the archives it was mentioned that for a long time Union researched on gaining the Dark powers but afterwards discontinued the research due to the massive amounts of sacrifice needed. A dumb move according to Crombell .

Crombell can obviously understand why Union stopped the research as weapon like Armageddon are more effective and something which would instantly increase their powers. But still a dumb move nevertheless to stop research on gaining dark powers.

Human beings kill each other for small benefits.  Crombell took action whenever he saw small opportunities.  Hence he was able to gather the vitality (sacrifices) easily required for his powers.

First Elder call Crombell as crazy for sacrificing so many people.  A remark which Crombell find funny. He accept that he is crazy but what about First Elder?

The Union have also sacrificed a lot of human beings in the perusal of their powers so Crombell ask First Elder if he is also crazy?  Or is First Elder going to be hypocrite and say that he did those sacrifices for the greater good of human race?

No matter what the time has come for First Elder to die.

First Elder ask how would Crombell rule over the Union. Crombell clears First Elder's misunderstanding: he doesn't plan to rule over Union!  He wants to wipe out Union!

The Elders are shocked at the unexpected reply.  Crombell further explains that he plans to wipe out human race with the power of Union.

Crombell would start a new Era with him being the first being of that era. He would become The God!

First Elder realizes the gravity of situation . He once again orders the Third Elder to leave.  First wants the third elder to control the Union and protect the human race from Crombell in future.

First Elder regrets the way he ruled over the Union. Perhaps if he was more careful and did his duty properly then he would have noticed Crombell's plan in advance.  First Elder orders Third Elder to lead the Union and stop Crombell from destroying human race.

Third Elder takes off. Crombell tries to kill him but fails due to the interference of First Elder.

First Elder vs Crombell is about to start!
