Noblesse Chapter 501

The battle between Lunark and Geo continue with the former at disadvantage.  Lunark has no time to recover from her previous injuries and regain her powers.  She knows that she stands zero chances in defeating her opponent but she wants to drag the battle as long as she could in order to help her husband Frankenstein. Lunark wishes for Frankenstein to defeat Haydn without any interferences.  She is ready for death if it would help her husband race.

Sadly for her the reality is far too cruel.  She is overpowered in no time.
As you would expect Lunark is saved at the last moment.
Mirai, the green haired werewolf, joins the battle.  Lunark inform her about the identity of the invaders: the forces of First Elder aka humans.  Mirai is shocked to learn that not only nobles but even the humans were far stronger than what Maduke told them. She curses her former lord for being so power hungry and sacrificing their race but having no idea about the powers of their enemies.  Seems like she has forgotten that in the previous arc she was just like her lord: arrogant ,ignorant and dumb who didn't mind sacrificing her race for power. Good job author.

Mirai tells Lunark that she would fight Geo and meanwhile Lunark can recover . Though Mirai isn't confident in herself due to her present body condition.

Meanwhile, the battle between Frankenstein and Haydn enter the final stage. Haydn goes all out with his blood stone. Not like it do any good for him as Frankenstein also goes all out by using the powers of his crazy lover Dark Spear.

First Elder is surprised by Frankenstein's powers ,and wonder how Frankenstein was able to get so powerful without Union knowing it.  Third Elder ask his superior if they would do nothing as Haydn is getting thrashed.

The fear of the bad guys isn't unfounded.
The Devil Frankenstein soon overpower and defeat Haydn .

Sadly the repetitive pattern of bad guy being rescued at the final moment continues: Third Elder launches his mystic eye attack on Frankenstein and save Haydn.

First and Third Elders finally enter the battle.

Seeing them participating Rai too steps in. The werewolves thinks that the Noblesse is back again in the battle.  The First Elder confesses that it would be difficult to face the Noblesse.

Before Rai can fully summon his powers... Frankenstein request his master to stop and step back.  He reminds his master of the conversation they had earlier: Rai would allow Frankenstein to handle the matters.

Rai stops summoning his powers and back off at the request of his loyal servant.
Juraki wonders why would Frankenstein request the Noblesse to not participate in the battle as having Noblesse as a partner in battle would be very advantageous.

Frankenstein finally confront the Elders...

  1. Your summaries always reaffirm my decision to stop reading the comic. The story seems so insanely boring. :\

    1. Indeed the story is boring but I still read it due to Frankenstein. He is the only reason. Love his personality especially in the battles.

    2. I think Frankenstein, Lunark - and the Raizel Knights are the only Reason People read Noblesse. x) Raizel himself is to boring -> as he is like Saitama. Simply overpowered.

  2. I wish the Author hadn't done that. For all the times Rai took over, it was never directly to protect Frankenstein, or it was always not really Frankenstein's fight. Here he was actually protecting him, although this is Frankie's fight. Doesn't it make sense for a friend to jump in when another friend is overwhelmed in an unfair battle? I'm also tired of the savior coming at the last minute. I don't need to have every character's personality switched around, so we'll like them. I understand redeeming qualities and all that, but still don't like it in such a big cast.
