It has started around 2 months ago in collaboration with a different artist.

Im curious what about manhwa titled ability... The took a brake from it and don't continue

DeleteI checked it out a few weeks ago. Art style is good, but not awesome like noblesse. Story seems funny. But don't think it'll be as popular as noblesse.

DeleteI'm not sure that I will read it. I'm very disappointed that we the fans were treated to a rushed ending just so that he could concentrate on a new story. What is to say that eleceed won't have a rushed ending when a new project comes along?
ReplyDeleteYeah! I also think that way. Being with them for sooo long (since 2010) and for what? I expected a really good ending... and it was a waste.

ReplyDeleteSon jaeho always started off well. Noblesse sounded promising too in the beginning, well tbf it actuallly was promising until chapter 250-ish.
DeleteCorrect me If i'm wrong, wasn't that he's not in a good condition where Noblesse has to put on hiatus for a such amount of months?... Right after a long hiatus, the arc became predictable and bit of a boring storyline.
DeleteNever heard of that, from what I knew, Noblesse never was put on hiatus let alone that long.
DeleteBut I could be wrong, that might just be true, but whatever it is, it shouldn't be an excuse. A plausible scenario would be tone alteration. I'm okay with Noblesse went all dark and horror but that's not the case. Instead we got a really good manhwa goes downhill for whatever reason.
It had a hiatus (5 months or so) because the illustrator had a health issue and panic attack.
DeleteYou said exactly what I was thinking. I just hope that in the epilogue he does right by the remaining characters, but at this point I expect I will be disappointed with it.
ReplyDeleteAs to Eleceed. The artwork is okay, but it doesn't have the details or the coloration that popped. It doesn't inspire me to draw fan art like Noblesse did.

DeleteYea all we have now is hope but just don't expect too much. Noblesse is already destroyed as we know it.
As for Eleceed, maybe that's because it just started. Noblesse's artworks weren't exactly magnificent when it began too
Hey, the Noblesse world was and is awesome. Frankenstein Rai M-21 Tao and Takeo. Loved them all. It was a promising world full of great stories. The writers didn't know how to bring such a great world to life. It was a shame it deserved better.

ReplyDeleteEleceed is actually pretty great (at least in my opinion). It focuses a lot more on friendship and funny moments than Noblesse did and I like that the main character didn't start off really powerful this time. Overall, I think it's going to be one of my favorite webtoons, although I think the summary on the main page drove some people away (It drove me away at first, anyway. A guy with cat reflexes didn't have the same wow factor as a vampire, but I'm glad I kept reading. Still though, I think the summary could use work).
