Noblesse 507 open with Frankenstein questioning Third Elder about the other Armageddon. Third Elder inform him that the satellites are programmed to attack if the link between them and First Elder is lost.
Frankenstein is angry and scoffs off the so called king of human race who would something so shameless just to save his life. Frankenstein repeats his earlier words: The biggest enemy of human race is not nobles or werewolves but the humans themselves. They do the most horrible acts on their own race.
Frankenstein cuts off a arm of First Elder in anger. He tells both First Elder and Third Elder to get lost.UGH. Can't believe how dumb Frankenstein is.
Lunark ask if Frankenstein is alright. She is bitter at the loss of Mirai and other warriors. She wonders if Frankenstein really plan to let the Elders leave.
Frankenstein says that he has no choice but to let the Elders leave. If he tries to kill First Elder then the latter might use the Armageddon which would result in the loss of both human lives and werewolves.
Third Elder request the First Elder to leave. First Elder is ashamed at his defeat and the fact that he was forced to use Armageddon card. It was a worst-case scenario plan if they lost to werewolves. But in truth First Elder did cared about humans so he made sure that the remaining Armageddon wouldn't harm humans if he died. Even he couldn't bring himself to harm so many humans so the satellite wouldn't have attacked humans if he died. But he didn't stated the truth to Frankenstein as he wished to live. Third Elder reminds him that the First Elder is the hope of Union...without him the Union can't exist. So what First Elder did was right. The Elders escape...Well done Frankenstein . Now they would come back later to do more damage. Such smart move. You could have knocked him out, etc. But nope.
In a damaged lab the injured werewolves are being given the emergency treatment. Muzaka is safe in the lab even though the lab suffered some damage.
Rai see his cockroach friend in the hibernation pod...
The werewolf warriors thank Rai for the help he provided. Without Rai the casualties would have been more. Rai ignores their words of thanks and continue to marvel at the cockroach abilities of his friend.
Lunark and Frankenstein arrives in the lab. Lunark inform the other warriors about the sacrifice of Mirai. They all agree that she died as a true warrior...
Frankenstein greets his master and tells him that he has returned (as he promised). Rai asks him if he is alright to which he answers in positive.
Lunark request Frankenstein to start his treatment on Muzaka . The werewolves are surprised when they learn that Frankenstein has the ability to cure Muzaka.
Frankenstein clarifies that he can't make any promises before he sees the data on Muzaka's condition. THe werewolves scientist proceed to gather data for Frankenstein's inspection...
Lunark asks Frankenstein to have some rest before checking on Muzaka as he has suffered some serious injuries. Rai is also worried but Frankenstein assures him that he is alright .
Frankenstein then ask for to be taken to communication center. Lunark guides him to thebedroom communication room.
Back in South Korea, Tao and co. are worried sick after loosing the signal when Armageddon attacked . Tao was able to detect that a satellite on Earth's orbit attacked werewolves land.
As they are in worry...Frankenstein contact them. He inform Tao & co. about the First Elder's attack on Werewolves land and the existence of Armageddon. There are more such satellites and he wants Tao to find them.
Tao assures him that he would find them.

ReplyDeleteAs much as i want to think that the 1st and the 3rd elder were only bluffing with the whole armageddon crap, I realize too that the authors don't seem to end the series yet so they're kinda delay the finale...?
You know how they always use the exact same formula for every single arc so it gets really boring every chapter.
I really hope they end it before it reaches ch. 525
I don't think it will end until Crombel has been dealt with. He was supposed to have an army of assassins. There is also M21's name.

ReplyDeleteI'm half disappointed with how this chapter went, and half understanding why Frankenstein made that decision (his fighting style doesn't really allow him to just subdue his opponent, it's either they're killed or devoured by Dark Spear). I still wished that the authors would change the formula of this arc. Also, doesn't Franken have mind control powers? Why didn't he use them on the Elders? And how is he okay after using blood spear?!

He probably could have just knocked the guy unconscious if he actually tried to control himself (and then put the First Elder in a lab and examine him and stuff), but I guess the author didn't want to consider the possibility because that'd break the rinse and repeat formula and lord knows we can't have that happen. 9___________9
DeleteFollowing the rule of bishonen, the sexy characters have [with limited exception] ended up joining Rai and the team. I suspect that the 1st and 3rd elder will end up joining Rai because Crombell uses the info he has to transform himself into something absolutely and without compare horrifying. That or he creates the ultimate weapon of doom. I mean, that's been the plot direction since the beginning of the manwah. It won't end until Muzaka and Rai are healed, and Crombell is finished [he's the ultimate big-bad/the biggest-bad]. My guess is that the 1st & 3rd elder, plus the werewolves, and Frankenstein working in tandem save Rai because only he and everyone working together can defeat Crombell. Assuming that Rai's brother doesn't show up alive or some other crazy last minute change.
ReplyDeletePlus, we still haven't see any more progress on the kid's story, which I see as being a later plot arc piece. Everything has been to shelter them from the fighting, to protect them from getting messed with, mutated, etc., but I suspect that something bad will happen--perhaps, Crombell will kidnap them or worse? Who knows... the possibilities are vast.
But, I do suspect that Frankenstein and Lunark will *finally* start dating, while Muzaka hooks up with a certain wereworlf, and Rai with the a certain "vampire". =P
I suspect, however, that the *only* way to stop Crombell will involve them *all* having to work together.
I doubted the 1st and 3rd elder would die due to the Rule of Bishonen, for which held [as I suspected] for Dorant. I suspect it will likewise hold for them too and they will eventually submit to changing their ways because Frankenstein took them both down several pegs and did it pointing out the very hypocrisy they demonstrate [likewise, like so many other characters, Rael, Lunark, Dorant, the other werewolves, etc., they come across with majorly bad attitudes that need to be corrected, but it would appear that they aren't implicitly evil, just misguided]. I think we'll see this play out as Rai and Frankenstein, and the kids, act somewhat outside of the normal workings of the three organizations. Crombell is the ultimate big-bad that the 1st Elder created thinking he could control him, when in fact, he can't. And as a consequence, I think he'll probably come to Frankenstein asking for his help to stop Crombell to protect humanity from Crombell's horrors to come. I suspect that it will take *everyone* working together to stop Crombell, as well as to fix things moving forward. :3
Made no sense that Frankie believed his bluff. None of the First Elder's primary enemies (like Marduke) would have cared about the satellites killing people.
ReplyDeleteSo to believe that bluff is to believe that the First Elder predicted he'd end up fighting the only powerful people in the world who had morals like that, who he didn't even know existed. And that he further predicted that they'd let him go and not just capture him (as his known enemies might have kept him alive to use him for experimentation).
This made Frankie look incredulously dumb, especially considering how smart he's been in other situations.
I hope Crombell takes advantage of the First Elder's condition and kills him or something. Maybe I'll feel like the plot advanced from all this then.
