Crombell remember the conversation he had with the true leader of Union...a meeting where he got screwed badly.
The blonde guy is the true first elder who ask Crombell about his views on Union's current situation to which the latter pretend ignorance. Blondy says that the death of so many Elders is a good thing even though it meant that the power of Union decreased.
Blondy then goes on revealing why he hided his existence. As the Elders grew strong...Union became like a sword which could not be swing at will. The stronger the Elders...the more difficult it becomes for 1st Elder to control them as everyone wants power and authority. Most importantly the presence of werewolves and nobles in the top hierarchy made it difficult for 1st Elder as they wanted to absorb Union. So first elder has to to do what he did: hiding his existence and using a proxy.
1st Elder comments that other Elders underestimated (undermined) his position and started doing things in secret...including Crombell.
Crombell feigns ignorance to which 1st says that he called him not to chide him but thank him. Thank him for the data on werewolves and Blood Stone.
Poor Crombell almost gets a heart attack when he learn that 1st Elder was aware of his hidden activities from the very start.
In present, Crombell is angry with the turn of events but wonder till when 1st Elder can be so confident.
Elsewhere, 1st Elder and 3rd Elder have a conversation. 3rd Elder advise him to remove Crombell as he is a danger but 1st remind him that other Elders were danger as well. Even though Crombell is a dangerous factor he could be used to their own advantage. Apparently they are not aware that author have blessed Crombell with ridiculous luck.
They also discuss about the death of Maduke and the losses suffered by the werewolves. 1st Elder tells 3rd to prepare for attacking WWs ASAP.
Blondy wants to make the world where humans are the rulers. How noble! I'm sure he would turn into a generic villain like Maduke at end.
Elsewhere, Frankenstein and Lunark meets. Lots of boring conversation. At the end she ask him help to save Muzaka. Frankenstein is surprised to learn that cockroach is still alive.
