In different parts of the world, the henchmen of Crombell continue to wreck havoc. The human government of those countries send their military with weapons but against modified humans they prove useless. After a hour or so, the bad guys retreat as was ordered to them by Crombell.
In South Korea, Tao inform his mates of the above activities. The good guys couldn't understand what Crombell wants to get from the attacks but they are sure he is planning something. Tao report them that the agents send by Third Elder to confirm Crombell's location are most likely dead (they have lost contact).
Rai and Frankenstein have went to one of the ten possible locations of Crombell. The base is a skyscraper located in the middle of city. Frankenstein is worried that innocents will die if they confront Crombell here unless the people are evacuated...
Just as they reach the skyscraper, one of Crombell's men (in a mask) come out to greet Frankenstein. The henchman reval that Dr. Crombell is waiting for him. Frankenstein think it is a trap and hence request his master to let him go alone.
Inside the skyscraper, the holographic projection of Crombell start a conversation with Frankenstein. Crombell inform that this skyscraper used to be his base till recently but now no longer. Also, asking his masked henchman is useless because he doesn't know. Even if Frankenstein kill the henchmen he doesn't mind as he doesn't have much longer to live due to depleting life span .
Crombell then says that he has a good offer for Frankenstein which will benefit both parties. The offer is that Frankenstein can join Crombell in his quest. Crombell know Frankenstein has great scientific expertise seeing how he was able to upgrade waste like M-21 or agents like Tao and Takeo. Crombell speak of the benefits and ask Frankenstein if he agrees.
Frankenstein naturally decline the offer after stating that First Elder made him a similar offer. Crombell apologize and then the skyscraper start falling down literally. Even Crombell's masked henchman dies suddenly ( due to lack of life-force).
Frankenstein couldn't believe Crombell would destroy the base here. Crombell says that destroying the skyscraper might not kill Frankenstein but he doesn't mind trying as Frankenstein's current location is 40 floors below ground which makes it difficult for escape.
Crombell further inform that he doesn't mind destroying the base as it in line with his goal of killing humans. There are many people in the skyscraper. Crombell would like to meet Frankenstein provided Frankenstein could escape. With this, the holographic projection disappear.
Frankenstein is worried as the falling of skyscraper would not only kill people inside it but people in the surrounding buildings as well. Suddenly, the skyscraper is back on its feet.
Frankenstein notice it is Rai who is stopping the collapse of the building. Frankenstein is worried as he told Rai to wait outside as it might be a trap. Rai says he knows that but him being with Frankenstein is something natural seeing it might be a trap. Frankenstein tries to protest but Rai remind they lack time.
Frankenstein respectfully agree while Rai continue to prevent the collapse of skyscraper...

ReplyDeleteRaizel is "ACTUALLY" using his Powers to protect normal People? Unlike the first Season in which he watched "Mary" kill a bunch of normal Human Guys and only stoically saying:
" They haven't changed. They still kill each other as if it is nothing, in order to achieve their Goals ... ... "
or something like that. Man, the Author(s) fucked up, back then.
Actually, he has grown softer. Character development if u would have it. He was cynical of the world at the start,considering the circumstances that lead him to slumber. His time with the kids had changed that view somewhat, and he slowly began to grow attach to humans.
Delete@Eng Kenny | Well said. B~uuut isn't it his Duty to protect normal Humans from Beings of Power anyways? I just can't accept why when Mary killed a handful of normal People, why this one Incident is an Exception to overlook. ;-) Raizel must have been aware that Mary will kill normal People again, if she wants.
